While working at NewsNation, design style was focused primarily in Photoshop. Here, I was able to expand my knowledge of Photoshop while also creating more intricate and realistic photo compositions. With that, I was able to practice more clean, cut-and-dry design. Additionally, I have been able to dabble in motion design throughout my years on the team.

For the last two years of my collegiate career, I focused on design. I worked in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator to accelerate my design skills and techniques. Here, I was able to focus on illustration, data visualization and page layout and use them to my advantage in creating visual data/information.

ASSt. Features editor

As Asst. Features editor, I oversaw the articles our reporters brought in, and edited and polished them with the reporter until it was finished. This position helped me to think creatively when it came to story ideas and editing techniques.

I started out as a reporter my freshman year of college. This is where I was able to hone in on my AP Style skills, copy editing, fact checking, along with writing and interviewing skills.

For Boss Babes Do Brunch LLC, I created graphic content and oversaw them being posted on our social media platforms. In addition, I was a head designer for the team and helped to create a newsletter and email campaign that represented the brand best.
